Today we celebrate the remarkable presence of our Member Parneet Kaur, whose journey to COP30 in Belém, Brazil embodies the true spirit of cultural dignity,
South–South solidarity, and climate justice.
But she has not arrived in the way most delegates do.
She has flown as a love note to Brazil.
As a symbol of India’s ancient ecological wisdom.
As a living reminder that sustainability is woven into our civilizational DNA.
🇮🇳🤝🇧🇷
This year, Parneet arrives in the form of her beloved saree — a poetic artwork telling the story of the Amazon meeting the Yamuna in Delhi, where a new chapter of Asian solidarity for climate action was written.
Her saree, showcased at the Global Ethical Stocktake Pavilion in the Blue Zone, stands as a cultural and climate bridge between India and Brazil.
A tribute to creativity, regenerative heritage, and the power of art to spark global conversation.
Our gratitude to Eduardo Carvalho and Leonardo Menezes of Outra Onda Conteúdo for enabling this collaboration, and to calligrapher Prabhjot who brought her poem “From Brazil to Bharat” to life.
